Difference between satisfactory and satisfying The test was satisfactory. The test was satisfying. Waht is the mean difference between two sentences ?

Satisfactory means "sufficient" or "acceptable" Satisfying means "pleasantly fulfilling"

OK, for example the test would be satisfactory if you got 70%. It would be a satisfactory result. You wouldn't really say that it was satisfying, as that word is used more to describe how you feel or felt about it. you could say 'it is very satisfying to get a good test result'. Hope that helps a little bit!
