How do you say/write 'cents' in French? For example, if something only costs 0.50 euros then would you say 'ça coûte cinquante cents' and write it as 'ça coûte 0.50 euros'?

Au Québec on écrit "cent" mais on prononce "cennnnnne" et parfois on dit aussi "sous" (prononcé "sou"). Le symbole est "c" barré ¢.
