Does 算了 算了 mean nevermind or forget it? I was watching an episode of 大耳图图 and a woman was talking to TuTu's parents when she said 算了 算了. I don't know what they were talking about because I was listening for new words but based on the context I'm guessing it is an informal way of saying "nevermind" or "forget it". Is that correct?

the word 算 means "calculate, assume" thus 算了 shows past action, kinda "consider it calculated" which means "never mind, forget it"
