"Some" and "any" In interrogative sentences, what's the difference between some and any? In which cases we use one or another?

"some"" and any" are used when the speaker cannot specify or does not need/want to specify a number or an exact amount. You use "some" in questions when you expect the answer will be 'yes' or when you are offering something, otherwise, you use "any": 'Would you like some coffee? "Some" is also used in questions when you are making a request: 'Can I borrow some money?' In general, any is used in negative sentences and questions: Have you seen any good films recently? You use "any" in positive sentences when we mean it doesn't matter which ..: Which dress should I buy? - Any one. It's up to you.
