what does"two-for-one"promotion mean? we have a two-for-one special on large pizzas. what does"two-for-one"promotion mean? does it mean you only need to buy one pizza then the seller will throw in another one for you or does it mean you must buy two pizzas once ,with this condition the seller then will charge the price of one pizza?Thx.Let's say a pizza costs $10. there are two aspects: 1:you ask the shopkeeper for one pizza, then he charges you 10 bucks and gives you one pizza, even though they have this two for one promotion ,but you only asked for one not two,so they can not throw in another to you. 2: this time you ask the shopkeeper for two pizzas, then he tells you since they have this kind of promotion and you asked for two so they charge you 10 bucks for two . so which is the exactly meaning of two for one promotion,1 or 2?

It means you can buy two pizzas for the price of one.

Doesn't it amount to the same thing? The price on the menu is $10 per pizza, and with this offer you can get two pizzas for $10. Two for one. Or have I misunderstood your question?

Another way to say it is 'But one, get one free' which we often shorten to BOGOF.
