How can I watch movies with Russian subtitles on KMPlayer?
It's been a while since I first wanted to watch movies with Russian subtitles, but never found out how because when I load the subs on the movie I just don't see more than junk.

Windows -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> Advanced -> Language for non-Unicode Programs -> Russian

There is another option.
You need to open the subtitle file in Notepad and save it in the coding ANSI.

Try to install these codecs: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ffdshow. After installing, in "ffdshow video decoder configuration" put a checkmark on "Subtitles".

Hi Ted, thanks for helping! Exactly, there's no Russian letter seen but some unusual characters instead when I load the subs.
