Could somebody recommend any book for esl teenager students to read in class? I have just started working as an English teacher at a High school in Spain. Teachers are looking for a catchy book for students to read. Maybe it would be more useful if we give them three of four options to choose, so that they feel more interested on them. I would appreciate your help :)

"The alchemist" "O alquimista" "El alquimista" Is usually my first recommendation, it is widely translated, very good, and fairly simple

It depends on the age, but I usually recommend 'Harry Potter' series or any Roald Dahl's children story, such as 'James and the gigant peach' or 'Fantastic Mr Fox'.

Holes by Louis Sachar is a book that I read for my kid a long time which is very good. It is for teenagers.

I think The Hunger Games trilogy is quite popular with that age group.
