How to acquire a native Spanish accent? Is there any book or video that teaches people how to acquire a native Spanish accent? When I was learning English, I used a book called “American accent training”,which I find very useful. So I was wondering if there’s a similar book for Spanish that teaches some tricks, such as, they don’t always pronounce the “s” sound in the word or how they eliminate the “d” sound in the -ado suffix. ¡Muchas Gracias!

Hi , spanish is harder than english. There is no way that you depelov an accent with a book, also Spanish has so many accents . The only way is that you go to live to one of the spanish speaking countries like Spain or México and learn their accent.

If you're looking for written as well as listening material, you can check out the public domain FSI courses, especially the Basic and the Programatic. https://fsi-languages.yojik.eu/languages/FSI/fsi-spanish-index.html
