Hi Hmano A 'player' is urban slang for someone who can influence other people, so that they do what the person wants. Whether the ability of being able 'to play' other people is 'cool' or not depends on your point of view. Often, in popular culture, 'player' is associated with men who are able to seduce, use and deceive women. Not 'cool' in my opinion.
