What is the meaning of "forget your lines" ?
I was so nervous I nearly forgot my lines.

When you act in a play, the character's words an actor has to memorize are referred to as "lines."
Quotes from plays and books can also be referred to as "lines."
So being nervous, the actor almost forgot what words he was supposed to say on stage.
