How to say in Korean "I am sorry to hear that."
I know you shouldn't say I am sorry which is 쥐송합니다.

after you hear other's speaking,
usually, you will say 정말 아쉽다 to express the meaning "i am sorry to hear that"

"그것참 안됐네요."
"아, 정말 유감이네요."
"어휴, 저런..."
"안타깝네요." 등등 여러 가지 상황에 따라 다르게 사용할 수 있어요.
맞아요. "죄송합니다"는 이런 상황에 쓰지 않아요^^
