The stress is in the first syllable, just like in the verb, "to VAry". I use four syllables, but squashing the middle two syllables together would be fine.

I agree with Peachey that the middle two syllables can be squashed.

US /ˈver.i.ə.bəl/.
Note that the R is pronounced even in non-rhotic English (except for some SE US accents).
