How do you say watch someone do something in Japanese?
I have two examples of this, both of them are pretty silly but the question still remains.
1) Then I watch Guts sleep.
2) I watch Guts take a shower.
I have formed two sentences in Japanese using help from other forums, but I cannot shake the feeling that they are wrong.
1)それからガッツくんはねて、僕はるのを見ます。
2)ガッツくんはシャワーをあびて、僕はるのを見ます。
Can anyone help me and know if these sentences are right or wrong? Thanks for any help in advance!
Good try, but they are incorrect. By the way, as you said, these example sentences sound weird to me, however, I think you chose them to practice the construction.
1) それから、僕はガッツくんがねるのを or ねむるのをみます。
2) 僕はガッツくんがシャワーをあびるのをみます。
I hope this helps you.
