酒よ - Sake yo translation Hello everybody, I am trying to translate Sake yo by Yoshi Ikuzo. This is what I have done but I know there are many mistakes. Can somebody help me correct it? If you find a translation on the internet then that would be OK also. The tears are for my many memories and there are a few wounds on my heart helping yourself to sake alone while listening to enka, holy(?) sake, such a night, ?? it’s good that time I turned around, loaded my dreams on to a ship on stormy seas headed for 2 people helping yourself to man’s sake while listing to Enka sake, for my darling, now I understand sake I want to drink, to bask ??, until I arrive at sleep for this man there is a tomorrow, I’m sure helping yourself to sake while apologizing and listening to Enka I love you and from now on, I understand sake helping yourself to sake while apologizing and listening to Enka I love you and from now on, I understand sake I love you and from now on, I understand sake Here are the links for the lyrics and video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssyl9xKM9Vc&feature=PlayList&p=D6EDF84CC594DA24&index=0&playnext=1 http://lyricwiki.org/Yoshi_Ikuzo:Sake_Yo

I could be wrong but there are a few parts I read kind of differently: In this tear, there is a number of memories. In this heart, there is a number of wounds. Whether drinking sake by myself, or drinking with a bartender, or drinking while listening to enka, Or even on a night when I drink myself to tears, Sometimes, it's good enough. If I look back over that time, I see the ship on which I had loaded my dreams, From which the two of us used to face the stormy seas together. Whether drinking with the guys, or drinking with the bartender or drinking while listening to enka, Anyway, just give me sake. Do you understand? Forget it, just give me sake. I want to drink until I'm drenched in sake, until I fall asleep. For a man, there is tomorrow, as I'm sure you understand. Whether I drink while apologizing, or drink with the bartender, or drink while listening to enka, I love you, even from now. You understand. (Maybe it's I understand -- can't tell.) Anyway, just give me sake.
