What does main vision mean in English?? Can I say 主视觉 in Chinese?? Or how to say "主视觉" in English?WoW, your answers are really helpful, I'm a designer, design playbills and poster for theatrical performance, also design covers for author, but I can't affirm how to say 主视觉(now I kown maybe it should be 主概念) in English, now I get it, maybe Primay sight and principal view adapt to that . right???

Hello Guli3;) If you literally translate 主视觉 into English it would be : 主 = main or primary ,while 视觉 = sight not vision So maybe you could say the principal view or the primary sight ,that what you usually concentrate on seeing or favor to see . 視力 or 眼光 would be rather 'vision' and main could be either 主 or 頭等. I am not sure if you could say 頭等眼光 in Chinese ,but that would be a literal translation of main vision into Chinese. A Chinese native who speaks good English could give you a more adequate answer.

Good question, guliguliguli. As fdmaxey said above, a "vision" is usually an idea or plan that one has about something or for someone. For example, "I have a vision for my life." This means that I have a plan for my life. Another example, "My vision for my children is that they attend college." This means that it is my hope, and possibly my plan or idea, for them to attend college (university). If you say "main vision", then you have more than one vision that you are considering. "Main" here would tell the listener or reader that you believe this "vision" is the more or most important vision for some reason. The other visions may be important, but the "main vision" is "number one". As for saying it in Chinese, consider what fdmaxey said. I don't speak, read, or write Chinese, just English and Spanish.

The phrase "主视觉" refers (I believe) literally to sight - meaning what you see with your eyes. "main vision" more probably refers to the main, or primary concept - maybe "主概念" might be better (somebody who speaks native Chinese help me here). A "vision" in this case refers to some picture a person has in their mind - a plan, concept or idea.
