What is the difference between la Bolsa and el Bolso in Spanish? I came a cross the words Bolsa and Bolso in my vocabulary and I am struggling with finding the difference.

Hola :).

La bolsa: the bag (like the plastic ones on the supermarket) El bolso: the purse (usually the ones women are used to wear and some men who find pockets ridiculously small)

Apart from all the correct answers, notice that "la bolsa", in Spain, means also the stock market.
