Difference between 怖がる and 恐れる What is the difference between the verbs 怖がる and 恐れる? If I want to say, for example, "I want to speak Japanese, but I'm afraid to make mistakes", which one should I use? (Or should I use something else entirely?)

> (Or should I use something else entirely?) I'm for this. sounds like other people's bussiness, not yours) (I'll explain more details later)

In this case I use "ミスを恐れて” 怖がる、is more emotional thing, "fear" you may say ミスをしたくないので、ミスをさけて also
