How can I offer a refund politely?
I would say "Would you like me to issue a refund for you?
and also I have two ways to issue a refund X and Y.
If I want to give the customer the option to pick up one, how can I say it?
Would you prefer your refund on X method or would you like it on Y method?
This is for customer service so I need to sound polite.
Thanks in advanced.

If you prefer we could offer a refund either by X or Y?
example:
If you prefer we could offer a refund either as a shop credit or a discount on your next purchase?

Try option x:
Something like this
"Whould you like me to add a refund option in case if something goes wrong?"
Overall the post looks ok and it's understandable🙂
