Hello. Unfortunately goldy is not an English word. Do you mean greedy? People are not typically described as materialists either, it is more common to call someone materialistic. If you meant materialistic, some synonyms for materialistic are greedy, consumerist, grasping, and capitalistic. If you would like to discuss this further, I am available for professional English lessons. My teaching profile is https://www.italki.com/teacher/5129645. I hope this helps you!

I'm not sure what you mean by "materialist", but I've never heard anyone refer to a person as "goldy", in fact "goldy" isn't even a word in English.

yes you might be able to use the valid but not often used word Goldy to mean materialistic, it depends on the context. A goldy person would be an asian sort of gold digger person. Also Goldy is a valid word and can be used in the game of scrabble. But you probably obviously mean greedy.
