La frase correcta es: Donde viviste? o Donde vivías? eso equivale a Where did you live.

"¿Dónde viviste?" has to do with the place where you have lived all your life or in a specific moment i'm your life, but it's in the past, and "¿dónde vives?" is where you're living now. On the other hand, "hiciste" is wrong because you're saying you're saying "where do you make live?", so that doesn't make sense. I know maybe your confussion comes from in English you usually use "do", which is an auxiliar y, but in Spanish it doesn't exist. Hope that helps you.

¿Dónde vivías? or ¿Dónde viviste?, That's the exact meaning of that question. "Hiciste" is another verb "do", in English "do" is an auxiliary in present and "did" is the auxiliary for the past, but in spanish we don't have auxiliaries, the verbal tense is given just by conjugating the verbs directly with no auxiliaries because they do not exist in Spanish. If you want to say "hiciste", it is like saying in English "What did you do?" or "did you do (that/this)". I hope I got well explained and you could undrstand it better. I'm at your service, best regards.

se dice , si quieres saber dónde vive ,/reside actualmente . Dónde vives ,,? si quieres saber el lugar de nacimiento : dónde naciste . y si quieres saber si ha vivido /residido en más sitios : dónde has vivido . Google traductor comete muchos errores . habéis es del verbo haber . se escribiría dónde habéis nacido / vivido y es plural . dónde has ... es singular
