Is it correct to use this at the end of a cover letter? "Thank you for considering my application. I am available at your convenience for an interview, and I am looking forward to hearing from you." I know that "I am available at your convenience for an interview" and "I am looking forward to hearing from you" are correct when used individually, but I don't know if combining them still sounds "natural".

Yes, this sounds very natural and professional.

Hi Alexiane, It's difficult to say, it sounds almost right but maybe not quite "natural." Then again, cover letters never sound really natural so I wouldn't worry too much. I looked at one of my cover letters and I ended it with "I look forward to the opportunity of talking with you further. Thank you for your consideration." I'm not even sure I like my own in hindsight, but I found a job so I guess it worked out. I think those two work can work together, but I would probably change it to "I look" instead of "I am looking." I looked at some sample cover letters my school offers and they finish with "I would welcome the opportunity to interview with ____(you/your company/your office). Thank you for your time and consideration."
