What does "walked past" mean? I read it that phrase and didn't undertand: "And then I walked past Eve's bedroom." Can someone help me?

"Walked past" means you don't stop at the location, you continue to walk beyond or past it. Really here, we can know that the person probably wanted to stop and knock on Eve's door but for some reason he decided not to. This must be somebody he loves hehe ;)

The person was walking down the hallway, and when they got to Eve's bedroom, they kept on walking. They did not enter her bedroom.

Simply to pass something as you walk by it. “She walked passed the dog.”

So let’s say you walked past something, that object is then behind you.

To walk past something means like you stop thinking about something (usually a bad experience or a memory) and try not to think about it anymore. You can also say “to shelf something.” Although, Doctor Freud doesn’t believe it’s really possible 😁😁
