In Spanish you can talk with a people in a familiar manner or in a respect manner, when you are talking in first one you can use MIRA, because is more unformal, or MIRE when you are talking to some one with RESPECT, in a formal manner

你好 Yanqin! 1) Mire, éste es el señor Alonso. In this sentence, you're treating the other person formally, like: 您看,这是Alonso先生 2)Mira, ella está en la ducha... In this sentence, you're treating the other person informally: 看, 她在洗澡 Best wishes Sofía

¡Hola Yanqin! En ambos casos, utilizas el modo imperativo (para dar una orden o mandato). La diferencia es el grado de respeto o la formalidad con la que le hablas a la otra persona. MIRA: Informal (tú) MIRE: Formal (usted) Espero que te sirva. Saludos, Estefi

Hello! The difference between "mira" and "mire" is that you use "mire" when talking to someone in a formal way (like your boss). You use "mira" when talking to someone in a casual way (like a friend).
