On the evening news OR IN the evening news ? Hi, I have this question In this example the preposition refers to the news, and "evening" is just an adjective for the news , right? So we say "ON the evening news" Is that correct?

If it is television or radio, then it is "on the news." If it is a newspaper, magazine, or internet, then it is "in the news."
