You know the answer is D? Anyway... defferent -> difference --- Here is why I agree with D being the correct answer: If we insert "elaborate" (D), we have - "The new secretary has written a remarkably elaborate report within a few hundred words but with all the important details included." The sentence emphasizes the amount of detail in the report ("remarkably elaborate"... "with all the important details included"). The surprise (making it "remarkable") is that the report was written elaborately; the surprise ("remarkableness") doesn't come from it being "concise" or short because it is stated that the report was written "within a few hundred words", so that wouldn't be a surprising point. --- That's how I see it, at least. I hope that makes sense.

The new secretary has written a remarkably (PRECISE ) report within a few hundred words but with all the important details included. To me that would mean that the reporter wrote an accurate detailed report. Anyhow Psyche there are many words we can chose for writing , good luck.

I would use PRECISE ,even though you can use ELABORATE ,but at the end of the sentence it says the report has all the important details ,so basically that tells us that the report has been ELABORATED.

To concise is to get to the "point quickly"and to be precise is to give "accurate" details. The word brisk means"to be "fast to do something or say something quickly. Elaborate is to "work out something" that is complicated carefully ,with details.
