'家就是港湾'是什么意思？
I can only understand it literally, Im sure there is a deeper meaning to this phrase though.

一般比喻长期在外的游子（出外闯荡世界的人，多是成年后离开家的人）归来，回到家的感觉就像船安全抵达港湾，水手出海归来，心里觉得很踏实，很安全，很温暖。

In chinese,the"港湾"is a place,which can make your heart peace,and feel warm,and you can have a rest.So most chinese would like to say:"家就是港湾"，it's mean: home is peace and warm.and you can have a rest.
