Lorena Ruíz

Lorena is an amazing teacher! She’s very patient and creates a great environment for learning. I’ve been taking classes with her to help with my speaking and writing. She’s been a life saver! I’ve tried many different teachers on different sites, but she is truly one of the best!

Lorena is a fun, engaging, and patient teacher. She is great at speaking at a level that I can understand and helping me expand my vocabulary. I look forward to my lessons with her!

Lorena was wonderful! She made me feel very comfortable and asked me great questions. It was really nice to be able to practice speaking without having to feel embarrased. She came up with a a great plan for us and was very well prepared. She is very patient and very kind! I am so excited to keep working with her!

Lorena is an incredible tutor. Through our weekly meetings, my comfort and enjoyment speaking Spanish has grown exponentially. My initial goal was to become more fluent in conversation so I could serve Spanish-speaking patients. Lorena challenges me during sessions to use more complex grammatical concepts and vocabulary, but somehow our meetings feel relaxed. She has a breadth of knowledge in a diverse range of topics, so I can practice terms related to my profession, but also chat about personal life, politics, literature, and pets. Learning with Lorena has been the best investment I've made the past year.

Lorena's lesson was perfect. I especially appreciated how she wrote down examples/corrections for me in the chat as we were talking and provided me with more natural/native-sounding ways of phrasing things! :)
