Hi guys! I'm Anggun. I'm Indonesian. I currently live in Colombia, it's been almost 2 years and I love it. I have learnt so much about the culture, the people, food and of course the culture shock. The past two years living in Colombia have been such an experience. I did some volunteer as an English teacher and also introduce my culture to Colombian through Indonesian food because I like cooking. I spend my free time doing exercise and outdoor activity, also learning Spanish. I have taken TEFL certification and I'm in the final semester of university, I study marketing Communications. It is not easy to learn a new thing, especially languages. But guess what, you gotta be proud of yourself for being brave to jump out of your comfort zone. We all start from ZERO and it is okay if sometimes we find obstacles during our journey, that's what makes you grow. I've been teaching both online and offline for kids and adult. Each person has their own unique and way of learning so I try my best to improvise my way of teaching to other people way of learning. Teaching abroad and have a moment where I need to speak local language to explain the topic makes me realize how to use the simple way to make other people understand. Teaching and learning are ways to improve ourselves.My lessons & teaching style
I like having conversation and asking bunch of questions to create dialogues. But it doesn't mean we can't use textbooks. We could collaborate textbook and conversation to create a good understanding of how to use the words and when to use it. We can learn from movies, songs, daily life activities, interest and our jobs. I believe sharing stories could help the fluency. Basically it depends on each person style and I'm here to be versatile. So, I will see you in the class.My teaching material
