Hi, my name is Mayo. **For English speakers, please pronounce my name in Spanish, like Cinco de Mayo. Not Mayonnaise ((´∀｀)) ** I don't speak Spanish though.
I was born and raised in Japan but have been in the us for long time. And I am a Japanese tutor, travel escort and a professional Japanese lyricist. Like to meet people (in person or online) and have conversation, and also like to do different things everyday.Me as a Teacher
Please tell me about your favorite and then you and I study Japanese thru your favorite topic. Though I'm not a certified teacher I have met and talked thousands of people every year as a travel escort, so I know how to have good conversation. You don't need to worry much. Just relax and have fun together.My lessons & teaching style
For grammer lesson, I go over grammer topics along with "GENKI" textbook. Explain the grammer by using presentaion slides and then practice it. If you don't have the text book, I send the presentatioon slide after the lesson.
For reading lesson, read a Japanese article, find out the new vocabulary and grammer and discuss about the article. I am going to prepare vocabulary sheet and send it after the lesson.
For Japanese lyric lesson, pick a song you like and inform me in advance. Then I prepare the lyric sheet with lists of vocabulary meaning and reading. After the lesson, I send the sheet to you.My teaching material
