We have been studying Tatiana's letter to Onegin (Pushkin). I cannot believe that I am now able to read it fluently from beginning to end! (and even add dramatization when I wish to :)
I remember many lines from the letter by heart! It's really fun :)
This moment of success putts to light the progress I made and really demonstrates how much you helped me understand and absorb the material. Both with vocabulary and with grammar. For example, without a sound understanding of the Russian cases it would have been impossible to understand the structure of the sentences in the letter.
It is the mark of a great teacher when the student progresses so easily and steadily that the progress seems like a natural development - until that moment comes which makes them look back and realize: "Waw! I've gone such a long way! I cannot believe that he took me all the way to here!".
