Hello, my name is Dan. I'm from the UK. I currently live in Canada.
I enjoy reading history books, watching good movies, and playing guitar.Me as a Teacher
I have four years of experience teaching English online to students of all ages and from all cultural backgrounds.
I have also worked as an ESL instructor in schools.My lessons & teaching style
I teach 1 hour classes to one student at a time. I also offer 30 minute trial classes.
I design my classes and courses based on your learning goals and language abilities.Certificates
120-hour tefl course - tefl.org - 2021Incorporating 50 hour TEFL, 30 hour Grammar & Language Awareness, 20 hour Video & Observation and 20 hour TEFL courses. Besides two days of classroom learning and presenting, the rest of the study for this certificate was online only. I learned valuable teaching approaches and was able to study the functions English language in depth. This certificate has proven to be invaluable during my previous teaching positions and everything that I learned will continue to serve me well at Italki.
