Emiri

今日はアクセントの付け方、鼻濁音、無声化、長音などについて勉強しました。Emiri先生は、細かいところまでバッチリ聞き取れて、調音のやり方を詳しく説明してくださいました。微妙に変えることで、音の違いを作り出せたのは、本当に面白い体験でした。こういう練習で、日本語のリスニング力も上達できると思います。ありがとうございました。

Emiri is a great teacher. The basics of Japanese pronunciation are perhaps not so hard, but there is so much more to it that is never addressed in textbooks. If you want to sound clearer, I can highly recommend her classes.

I really love my lessons with Emiri sensei, because she is easy to talk to and she is very helpful. I'm a very shy person, but her no pressure approach help me to speak Japanese more confidently and without fear of making mistakes. She's very patient too.

I learned a lot about the hiragana pronunciations during this first lesson. Emiri先生 was very good at explaining how to position the tongue and shape the lips to form the proper sounds. It was useful to know what I had been doing wrong, and what the letters should sound like instead. I look forward to improving my Japanese pronunciation through more lessons with her.

This is one of my first lessons on italki. Emiri immediately provided me with actionable feedback, making it easy to improve my pronunciation and know what to focus on. I will definitely try more lessons!

Had a great first lesson with Emiri-sensei! She is very bubbly and easy to talk to. I've been studying Japanese for a while and there were a lot things about Japanese pronunciation and pitch accent I didn't know that Emiri-sensei helped me with in just the first lesson.
