Keita sensei always ensures to include valuable bonus material to supplement the Genki books. I thoroughly enjoy each lesson in which he instills the knowledge and confidence I need to become more proficient.

K San, is an excellent teacher. Our first class went very well and I love the structured approach to his teaching. We started with a knowledge review to see where we should begin. I was provided with plenty of material to get started and additional source information. I look forward to continuing or courses!

As always Keita Sensei is always the best. He’s patient with my slow reading and encourages me to do my best. I have learned a lot from him. I can see myself progressing fast in Japanese.

Keita san is a great teacher. I've just completed a 10-lesson package and am booking another. I came in with minimal Japanese (Hiragana and a few words) and he met me where I was at. Our sessions involve going through Genki, some Japanese conversation, and reviewing homework, which he helpfully grades outside of class. Keita san provides materials if you don't have them, and maintains a Google doc of feedback and key lesson points. The structure and flexibility provided are great, and I feel like I'm making progress towards learning this language. I highly recommend him and look forward to continuing to learn from him.

Keita Sensei is so well-prepared and knowledgeable as a Japanese tutor. I was really impressed by his depth of knowledge on the subject. He teaches not just the "what" but the "why" - for example, why "は" is sometimes pronounced as "wa" (there's a fascinating thousand-year history!). He also understands the specific elements of pronounciation like mouth shape and tongue position (which is often overlooked), so I would particularly recommend him for anyone who is interested in developing the most natural pronounciation possible.

Lesson 2: I learned so much! Today I learned a lot of new grammar points such as noun modification, referring to another topic, and more! I enjoy how much K-sensei fits into one lesson and I really notice a difference. K-sensei is the best!
