Hi everyone! :) My name is Mathilde, I’m a native French speaker. I currently live in Stockholm where I'm taking the university degree required to become a teacher. I'm fluent in English and I'm learning Swedish, I love to learn languages and to discover new cultures, countries and people. I earned a master's degree in economics in France and worked for several years for a company in the financial sector. Then, I decided to move to Stockholm. I fell in love with Sweden, and its language and its culture. Due to the move, I learned both English and Swedish, which means that I understand very well the the difficulties of a learner.

Me as a Teacher

I've been teaching French for several years now, and I'm passionate about it. I've been teaching online to adults as well as to kids in Swedish schools multiple times a week. I've taught to students of all skill levels and of many nationalities, and I really enjoy sharing my learning experience with them.

My lessons & teaching style

During my classes, we will focus on your goals and expectations, and plan your progress to reach the level you need. Whether you want to find a job, live or study in a French-speaking country, my courses are a perfect fit for you! If you are beginner, we will start with the basics and use English to understand each other. From my experience, individual lessons are the best way to learn. We will work on comprehension and expression, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary and the French language that is actually spoken in France. We'll use a variety of tools to give you the best possible immersion in the French language and culture: French music, cinema, news, podcasts... and much more.
