Hello! My name is Helena, I'm a native English speaker from Canada who just returned home after living in Türkiye for 2 years. Teaching English allows me to help others do the things that I love such as travelling, meeting new people, and learning! I enjoy sports and outdoor activities such as rock climbing, snowboarding, and hiking. I also enjoy learning other languages and am currently learning Persian. I love talking about food, travel, healthy lifestyles, and nature.Me as a Teacher
I have experience helping beginner, intermediate, and advanced students improve their fluency, refine their pronunciation, and speak English with confidence. My youngest student is 6 years old, and my oldest is 64.My lessons & teaching style
My goal is to provide an interactive lesson where I coach you in English grammar, vocabulary, literacy, and conversational speech that will help you sound like a native speaker. We will use courses and conversation topics that help you practice what you already know and build your knowledge, skills, and confidence.
