First session with Carlos was great! I had advised ahead of time that I wanted to get more practice speaking and we jumped straight into it from the start of the lesson. He adjusted his speed to suit me and also corrected me along the way as necessary. I will be booking future lessons with him.

Carlos is a great teacher. Always on time, makes it fun to learn Portugese. He is patient with beginners. Highly recommended.

From my experience with different teachers on italki, Carlos has been the best for me. He creates such a comfortable environment to speak and have a normal conversation while correcting errors in the chat to address between lessons. 10/10

I started learning Portuguese with Carlos a year and a half ago, starting as a complete beginner and now I am somewhere between B1 and B2 in terms of reading and listening comprehension, almost at the same level with writing and speaking skills. I feel very proud of the progress I’ve made but all the praise should actually go to Carlos, because he has been helping me, without fail, all the way along the learning path. He’s always been very supportive, encouraging, polite, friendly, and a very nice person to communicate with. He is always in a good mood, amiable, with great sense of humor, happy to explain anything as many times as needed. His sunny disposition really helps to learn and feel at ease at the lessons. Highly recommended!

Had another enjoyable lesson with . It’s always hard for me because my level of talking is not very good but he is very patient and corrects me nicely when I don’t use the right words or phrases which is very helpful. Also types them into the chat so that I can remember the correct words and phrases. Very pleasant and helpful teacher.

Today was an introductory class. Carlos was very attentive in attempting to evaluate my prowess in Portuguese.
