I got a Japanese teaching license in 2021 and have been teaching online for three years, including experience as a university lecturer. I am patient and passionate about teaching.
After I became a teacher, I started learning English and watching anime—both are my hobbies! I can be a good teacher because I’ve learned foreign languages—not only English and Spanish, and I used to live in 3 different European countries. I know how wonderful it is to learn new languages and explore different cultures. Summer course Japanese teacherDuring the summer vacation, I taught a Japanese language course at Witelon University for students, graduate's students, and members. I handled both group classes and individual lessons for students ranging from complete beginners to intermediate learners. In face-to-face lessons, I taught to introduce Japanese culture in each session, offering experiences beyond language learning, such as soroban, making personal hanko, card games, hanafuda, and peace education.

Also, while I was studying abroad, I studied linguistics at the University of Salamanca. At that time, I chose Basque(Euskera) .

EN: The first lesson with Kiko-san was terrific and lots of fun! She is well-prepared and easy to talk to. I was surprised by the fact that she organized PowerPoint slides for the lesson. Not too many teachers do that.
ESP: La primera lectura con Kiko-san fue increíble y muy divertida. Además, Kiko-san también preparó plantillas de PowerPoint para la lectura en lugar de simplemente usar el texto Genki. La verdad es que eso me sorprendió, ya que no es común en mi experiencia con otros maestros. ¡La recomiendo al 100%!

I am really enjoying my lessons with Kiko-san! I really feel like my conversational skills are improving. Kiko-san is diligent in gently correcting me when I get things wrong so that I can fix my mistakes, and we never seem to run out of things to talk about, which makes the lessons really fun.

I have really enjoyed the lessons I've had with Kiko-sensei. We have conversations at a level where I mostly understand, while pushing my abilities and allowing me to learn a lot. If I don't know how to say something, she has the patience to let me try to work it out, while helping me when I need it. If I use words or grammar incorrectly, she always offers a very gentle correction that lets me learn without feeling bad about having made a mistake. The conversations themselves are fun and the hour flies by every time! I'm looking forward to many more lessons.
