Hi there! My name is Alexa, and I am from Bogota, Colombia.
I am passionate about learning languages, going to the movies, listening to music, and meeting people from around the world.
I studied business administration and I specialize in business, interview preparation, and customer service.
Of course, I am also certified to teach Spanish as a foreign language!

I am certified to teach Spanish as a foreign language to students of any level. From Elementary level to Advanced students.
Additionally, my classes are very practical and focused on everyday situations, which makes learning come naturally.
I also like to share about my culture and the Latin American culture, which is an essential part of learning Spanish.My lessons & teaching style
My classes are very engaging, in them we will practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Additionally, we will do fun dynamic activities where you will apply what you are learning during each class.
We will listen to songs, watch videos, and do many fun and entertaining activities that will help you learn the Spanish language.
We will also do role-plays where you will put into practice everything you have learned during class.

Today Alexa helped me with a deeper understanding of Reported Speech, both direct and indirect. One of the great things about Alexa is she will bring subjects to discuss and also provide time to discuss subjects you would like to discuss. Then at the end of each lesson we discuss current events, recipes, culture, etc.. If you are reading this and looking for an outstanding teacher I would advise you to book a lesson with Alexa.

Another great lesson with Alexa. Today she helped me understand a little more difficult subject for me of combinations of prepositions and pronouns. She explains things in a very simple manor that makes them easily understood.

Once again Alexa gave me an excellent lesson and experience. It amazes me how fast one hour can go. I have two one hour lessons per week with Alexa and will continue to do so. If you are looking for an outstanding teacher on italki you need to book a lesson with Alexa!
