Hello, my name is Birgir, I'm from Iceland and my native language is Icelandic. I love helping people to learn Icelandic, introduce them to my country and its culture and how everyday life is for the average Icelander!Me as a Teacher
I know how hard it is to learn a new language so choosing a good teacher and having a fun and engaging time while learning is key. That's why I focus on teaching Icelandic in a fun and interactive way. If you are a beginner or more advanced, then I can help you improve your Icelandic. I am super patient and I'm here to guide you and motivate you through your Icelandic learning adventure!My lessons & teaching style
I can teach you Icelandic for practical use, as it is spoken in daily conversation which would go a long way to help you meet and connect better with Icelandic people. I can provide you fun and engaging material you can learn by yourself after class. I'm also open to suggestions from my students who may have a certain method or ways they want to learn a language.

After a 25-day streak of studying Birgir's Anki decks, I can now form some basic sentences and try responding to small talk. I can only imagine what big strides I could achieve in Icelandic as I continue taking lessons while studying new cards in between. I am very happy and satisfied to have started classes with Birgir this year. Looking forward to the next year!
