Hello! My name is Alena and I'm here to help you learn Russian. I was born and raised in Russia so Russian is my first language. I also speak English and learning Korean. In my free time I do dancing, read and develop various skills such as video editing and design. Despite the fact that I have hardly ever been abroad, I have a lot of friends from different countries, whom I met precisely because I study different languages. So I would be happy to help you open up new horizons by learning Russian.Me as a Teacher
I've been teaching Russian for more than a year and I'm constantly learning foreign languages myself, so I perfectly understand the difficulties you may face or have already faced. I've worked with many students with different character traits and life experiences so I believe I can find the right approach to any person. For me as a teacher the main goal is to make you feel confident and comfortable during our lesson.My lessons & teaching style
In first lesson we will discuss your expectations from our classes,goals in learning Russian and choose the best learning path for you.
The main tool I use in my lessons is communication.During the lesson,depending on your choice and level of language proficiency, we will use various materials:fiction,videos,music,pieces of famous movies and series.We can also just discuss topics of interest to you.

I think she is the perfect tutor for me. Super kind, patient and fun! I really have been wanting to learn Russian enough to understand and communicate proficiently, having a tutor is super motivating and keeps me learning. With her especially, I felt comfortable, which is hard to find; it makes learning much better. Thank you for this lesson, and I look forward to our future ones!
