Yurika Yamaguchi

Yamaguchi Sensei is the best Japanese teacher on italki! She's been teaching me Japanese for almost a year. I just got back from my first trip to Japan and was able to see the results of her teaching first hand. It made such a difference being able to communicate with locals while traveling the country! Now she is helping me prepare to write the JLPT N5 in December. Can't imagine learning Japanese without her! 本当にありがとうございます！！！

Learning a new language is exhausting, difficult, and easy to lose hope in. But I always come out of Yamaguchi-sensei's lessons feeling more inspired than when I entered. She's a wonderful teacher with a great sense of humor, and I am so grateful for how much she has taught me and how much better she makes me feel about my progress.

Super fun lesson! We talked about some challenging subjects but she did a great job patiently waiting and allowing me to fail before helping like a great teacher would. I highly recommend and hope you enjoy a lesson with her!

Yurika-sensei is an amazing teacher! I definitely recommend her to anyone learning Japanese at any level. She is fluent in English so when you get stumped on something in Japanese shes easily able to explain it so you’ll understand. She is very patient and so fun to talk to!!

Yurika has a very cheerful personality. She is easy to talk to, passionate, and always has something we can talk about. In her lessons, I can speak Japanese with confidence because every time I make a mistake I know she will explain it in Japanese and, if necessary, in English as well.
