Hi, there. My name is Intan Deviana. I used to work as a contributing writer for one of the online media in Indonesia. I contributed hundreds of Indonesian articles for six years (2018–2024), mostly about travel and food. Now, I'm focusing my career on being an Indonesian and English tutor. I'm so into traveling, doing outdoor activities such as hiking and camping, and also writing and hanging out with friends in English.Me as a Teacher
I'm enthusiastic about helping people with their Indonesian and English. I have been talking to many people from across the globe since January 2020, which led me to introduce my native language to foreigners. Teaching Bahasa Indonesia informally sounds pretty interesting while using English as the bridge language in the learning process. In my teaching process, I'm going to apply the method I've used on my own to learning English.My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style allows students to speak and listen as much as possible. I can provide certain topics, questions, or articles to be discussed in class. However, students can also bring their own materials that they want to learn with me. Practically, I can be very flexible in my teaching.My teaching material

I started speaking Indonesian at zero a few years ago, and thanks to her patience and support, I've begun to feel more and more comfortable speaking/reading/ writing Indonesian. I always have fun during her class. I have a long way to go especially with speaking, but I will never stop practicing Indonesian because I want to talk with her in the beautiful language. You can't go wrong with Intan :)

Dring thoses class, I realized one thing. Sometimes, you just memorize it or get used to it via practice and practice. Then one day, you will naturally remember it. For example kata:” nyisain”( sisa).
A good teacher will help you to get there.
