Marco

Marco es un increíble profesor, he tenido varias clases de italiano con él y he mejorado notablemente. Siempre tiene argumentos interesantes para platicar y he aprendido frases coloquiales que me permiten ser más fluida y tener más vocabulario. Me hace sentir en confianza por lo que no me da miedo equivocarme y esto me permite seguir avanzando. Grazie mille Marco, ci vediamo presto! :)

Marco’s lessons are always a lot of fun. It’s never hard to find something in common to discuss. What’s more, Marco is a patient and supportive teacher and I feel that he puts a lot of energy into helping his students reach their goals. After every lesson I come away with increased confidence as well as new words and expressions that I have never heard before. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his lessons to other students. Marco é um excelente professor, pois além de aprender o tema, também aprendi novo vocabulário e particularidades do idioma, como frases que normalmente são ditas de determinada forma quando são escritas e de outra forma na fala do dia a dia. Muito obrigada e até a próxima aula!

Excellent lesson as always, with stimulating conversations covering a variety of topics!

Marco was wonderful! He kept the conversation going even while typing corrections for my sentences so that I could learn from my mistakes later without interrupting my flow as I was speaking. He never let my pauses become awkward and patiently gave me the time to think so I could try to remember the word I wanted. He only used English when I really didn’t understand Italian, but he was able to rephrase things in more basic Italian when I seemed confused. Because of his patience, we were able to have a fun and productive conversation talking about school, work, where I live, and my goals for the future even though my level of Italian shouldn’t be high enough to talk about those topics. I would definitely book another lesson with him!

Marco is adept at transcribing what I said (except in perfect Italian, the way I should have said it!) at lightning speed, producing super helpful notes.
