Hi! My name is Damali! :) 你好！我是小丽！ I live in Texas! I have a BA in English Communications and I am TEFL Certified (120 hours). I taught ESL/English abroad in China for a year. I have taught kids and adults online as well (students from America, Turkey, China, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Korea, Japan, and etc). Some of my hobbies include: learning Chinese/about the culture （我很喜欢中国！）, reading novels (action, horror, romance), writing poetry, Kpop/BTS, KTV/Karaoke, playing mahjong, British shows, Japanese manga/anime, playing tennis/volleyball, and self improvement books.Me as a Teacher
I am patient and easy to talk to! I am good at using different strategies to help students in the classroom. I have been told I have a good voice and students can understand me very clearly. I will explain things as much as a student needs until the student understands a concept. I understand the struggles of learning a new language, so it helps me with teaching a new language as well. I have traveled and lived in another country before, so I am very open-minded with any students I have.
