Hello, my name is Tania and even though I was born and raised in Greece, I consider myself a citizen of the world. I lived and worked as a teacher in over three countries and I have travelled in many more. I'm a nature lover so I often go hiking and work in my garden. Moreover, I love swimming, scuba diving, yoga, coding, cooking (I've got some great Greek recipes to share), painting and doing crafts. What's your passion?Me as a Teacher
I'm a proud multi-teacher and lifelong learner. By saying that I mean that I taught in so many different learning environments and to such diverse students that I turned myself in a super adaptive, motivation-boosting teacher. I love my job and I always work on making my lessons interesting, practical and suitable to my student's needs and personal interests. I've never in my life stopped learning new skills so I know first-hand the struggle of learning something new. But I also know that devotion, consistency and a good teacher can make the difference. I'm very interested in my students and therefore I like getting to know them at first. It's very important that we decide on the learning goals together in order for me to plan the lessons according to their own learning needs and the reasons why they decided to learn Greek. The Greek language can be quite overwhelming at start, as it seems to be very different from any other language or alphabet. But in reality everyone speaks some Greek without even realising it. I'm the kind of teacher who would like you to progress quickly and smoothly. Learning doesn't have to be memorising grammar rules. The core of learning a language is communication and that's what we're going to work on.My teaching material
