Literary Translation Workshop Attendance - Universidad de Concepción - 2008I attended a literary translation workshop (French into Spanish) taught by French writer Bernard Friot. We discussed how culture influences a writing and the best ways to convey messages efficiently into another language.

Teacher of English/TranslatorI taught English to Chilean students from levels A1 to B2. The lessons included listening activities, oral production, grammar assistance, and reading comprehension.

Research AssistantI worked as a research assisant at the Linguistics Department at Pontifical Catholic Unversity of Valparaíso. The research project was called "El manejo de la carga de la prueba en declaraciones públicas de empresas chilenas involucradas en escándalos". The focus of research was on the area of critical discourse analysis. I had to analyse texts for a qualitative research, read articles to contribute to the theoretical framework, and expose the results on the 2014 ALED Conference.
