I'm all about languages - I love learning and teaching them. Currently I am learning Norwegian. I am curious about all languages even when I'm not trying to learn a specific one.
I love talking about: movies (Spielberg fan), music (rock passionate), TV shows (I watch The Office over and over again) and books (Stephen King's admirer), but when the weather is nice I prefer not to stay at home - I can vanish in the forest.Me as a Teacher
I'm charismatic and always prepared. I come to every lesson with the topics and presentations planned ahead, but I'm very flexible and always open to your suggestions, if you've got something you want to work on. I am patient and supportive. I know for a fact that with time anyone can learn anything if using right techniques, although I understand, that there can be worse days and that we tend to forget stuff we've learnt already. By using a lot of visuals I do my best to keep you interested and learn as much as you can. I am an inclusive teacher - everyone is welcome to my class, it's a safe space.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are funny and creative, but also full of useful topics. I love using videos, memes, newspapers etc. but I always take your needs into account first. I use different scenarios focused on real life communications , encountering various problems and meeting different people. I also make sure that you get enough revision, since it's normal to forget things. If you are learning just for basic communication I won't bother you with grammar to much, but if you need to prepare for an exam, grammar is what we will focus on. Always let me know what you need to learn, your feedback is crucial.My teaching material
