Xin chào! I'm Yang, a Vietnamese native living in Hanoi. I graduated from the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University. With over three years of experience teaching both groups and individuals, I am passionate about helping others learn my native language and gain insight into life in Vietnam. What I love most about teaching is seeing my students grow and improve. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy the simple pleasure of sipping Vietnamese coffee at local cafés, appreciating the unique charm of daily life in Hanoi.Me as a Teacher
Over the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching Vietnamese and sharing my language with learners from diverse backgrounds. This journey has been one of continuous learning and growth, allowing me to refine my teaching approach. Helpful teacher that takes time to listen, and understand goals, objectives, and help understand sentence structures. Very patient so would definitely recommend for people that are just starting out with the language.

Another satisfying lesson with Yang. We talked about languages again - the use of Chinese characters in Vietnamese/Korean in the past, as well as the writing of Vietnamese poems. We ended with a look at a short paragraph on an ethnic minority in Vietnam. We also talked about how we may introduce some homework arrangement in the future to further enhance my Vietnamese skills!
