Hello! I'm Jessie and I have a B.A in English Literature and a CELTA Certificate from International House. I have been teaching English as a foreign language for 10 years and from my travels, I have learnt to speak Spanish and Portuguese.
From both learning and teaching a language I know all the trials and tribulations and also the fun and satisfaction you can get from it. For me, language is like a logic puzzle; you must put the parts together in the right way for it to make any sense.
Apart from English teaching, I am passionate about health, Ayurveda (india's ancient science), Yoga, reading, writing poetry, making videos and sitting by water :)Me as a Teacher
As a teacher I am very patient, kind and understanding. I feel it is paramount to have good rapport between teacher and student because it makes it far easier to learn if you feel relaxed and are enjoying yourself.
