i have recommended lorena to 4 friends, because there is no better teacher at meeting you at your spanish level, while also slowly challenging your vocabularly and conjugation. she makes good conversation, has interesting visual aids that prompt discussion, and is especially good at dealing with spanglish -- the crazy phrases and words we use when we're learning spanish -- she can figure it out. you won't find a better teacher.

Lorena adjusted her schedule to accommodate mine, a very good benefit. She was courteous and helpful. I am doing the long slog through the subjunctive which is very hard and seems to have a million rules and exceptions to rules. Lorena can explain all this in Spanish or English. Five Star all the way.

Lorena is the best teacher on italki that I had the pleasure to take classes with and that says a lot because I have booked many hours with different people on this platform. She is punctual, always brings positive energy and is very patient. I like her spanish classes a lot because she always has fun activities for grammar exercises that treat exactly what you want to work on like the past tenses. She answers all of my questions and can adapt her lessons to fit me personally. I like her so much that I am taking both conversational classes as well as the past tense class once a week.
